How Are Hopes, Dreams and Reality Related?

*** Views Today: 16,700 and Thank You!

*** The pressure of Life tests can act like an alarm clock awakening us to act.

From Denny: Sometimes, we can feel like Life is raining on our parade. The goal is to keep looking ahead for the light to guide us - or in funnier terms, "Look for the exit sign!" - especially when you are in a tough life test that feels like you are trapped in a maze. Life puts pressures on us all. It's that uncomfortable pressure that gives voice to the fact we need to move on from where we are because we are not growing. Those pressures act like a loud alarm clock to startle us fully awake to act.

The beauty of this quote is that it addresses being fully conscious, fully present, fully awake. These are the hallmarks of having achieved a deeper level of spiritual development: when you are aware every moment. The entire process of true spiritual development is our everyday conscious mind merging gracefully with our eternal spiritual mind, working in harmony each day.

Hope is a friend. Hope is a vehicle to take us to that greater state of development. Hope delivers us from only a dream into a beautiful reality worth staying awake to enjoy.

Where Does Hope Guide Us On Our Life Path?

*** Views today: 7, 899 and Thank You!

*** Read an insightful quote about Hope that will put to rest all the naysayers against the practice of Hope as useful.

From Denny: Contemplation of one good thought like this quote can be illuminating. Did you ever consider the power of Hope from another angle other than to lift up our hearts from despair? Did you ever consider the power of Hope in another way other than to help give us the energy to struggle on? What's great about this quote is it's wisdom of how the Universe employs Hope to lead us on our spiritual path to our greatest achievements! It's like the old paraphrased adage: If you don't open the door, you can't walk into the room.

Quote

* If you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes. - St. Clement of Alexandra

Hope: Unborn Baby Grabs onto Doctors Hand in Surgery

*** Views Today: 9,552 and Thank You!

*** Hope begins before we are born. Read baby Samuel's story.

From Denny: Hope begins in the silence of the darkest moment in our lives. Just like a small candle can suddenly illuminate a dark room, so too can Hope lift up our hearts to believe again after disappointment or failure.

The Beauty that shines from Hope is its courage to sing when we are overwhelmed by the dark, summoning the light, growing the light, causing us to become the light. Hope is a quiet Power found within all of us.

Quote

* Hope is like a bird that senses the dawn and carefully starts to sing while it is still dark. - Anonymous

Quoted from the photographer Faithful Chant on her flickr page:

A picture began circulating in November. It should be 'The Picture of the Year,' or perhaps, 'Picture of the Decade.' It won't be. In fact, unless you obtained a copy of the U S paper which published it, you probably would never have seen it.

The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by surgeon named Joseph Bruner.

The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother's womb. Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta . She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb.

During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. As Dr. Bruner completed the surgery on Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. Dr. Bruner was reported as saying that when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life, and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile.

The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity. The editors titled the picture, 'Hand of Hope.' The text explaining the picture begins, 'The tiny hand of 21-week- old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother's uterus to grasp the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life.'

Little Samuel's mother said they 'wept for days' when they saw the picture. She said, 'The photo reminds us pregnancy isn't about disability or an illness; it's about a little person.' Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100 percent successful.

Pass it on. The world needs to see this one!
