15 Best Christmas Quotes: Just What Is It About Christmas Time?

From Denny:  At this time of the year, in the early winter, there slowly descends and rests upon the land a sense of spiritual calm and Peace.

Be aware not to get too caught up in the shopping sales, rushing about to finish last minute gifts and holiday preparations to miss noticing the biggest Gift.  Take the time to absorb this special energy sent from Heaven.

With all the commercialism that has attached itself to this holiday, it is easy to miss the obvious.  This time of year is to remind us to Love and extend Goodwill toward all others experiencing the same Life journey. If only we would remind ourselves to extend Goodwill and Love all year long instead of just every December!

There are those who despise the holiday season, extending grumpy attitudes, fussing about everything and everyone, refusing to extend themselves.  Many experience disappointment and feel socially isolated this time of year, even emotionally desperate because of focusing upon a negative outlook.

The way out of that spiritual hell hole is to emanate outward from the heart level.  Christmas is not about the food, the gift giving or the church going.  It's about the attitude that only you and I can make the choice to stir up in our hearts and freely give away to others.

So, the next time the holiday season rolls around, take some quiet time and stop to enjoy the spiritual energy quietly stirring and wrapping itself all around you.  Enjoy it and then pass it forward:  Love!

Christmas is forever, not for just one day,

like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.

The gladness of Christmas give you hope,

The universal joy of Christmas is certainly wonderful.  We ring the bells when princes are born, or toll a mournful dirge when great men pass away.  Nations have their red-letter days, their carnivals and festivals, but once in the year and only once, the whole world stands still to celebrate the advent of a life. - Anonymous

May you have the gladness of Christmas which is hope;
The spirit of Christmas which is peace;
The heart of Christmas which is love.
