Dennys Funny Quotes: Cat Philosopher: Curty Talks About Seizing Opportunity

Dennys Funny Quotes: Cat Philosopher: Curty Talks About Seizing Opportunity: From Denny:  Cat Philosophers are very wise.  They understand the vision of living in the present and seizing the day.  You see, success comes to he who waits patiently for the situation to turn to his advantage while his goal is in sight.

Take note that Curty also believes in secondary fall back positions:  When the food you want escapes, enjoy the food available.

Cute Life Quote: Make Sure You Smile

From Denny:  You know how it is.  You have a gazillion old photos lying around begging for attention.  You decide it's time to pair them with some funny or insightful quotes.  Of course, the old ones before digital are suddenly and now magically digitized!  See how easy that was?  How painful was that? :)

Dennys Art Sanctuary: 35 Stunning April Wallpapers

Dennys Art Sanctuary: 35 Stunning April Wallpapers: "OK, I found all my favorites for the month of April out there in Wallpaper Land and posted them here for you. These are mainly desktop wallpapers, available without the calendars and in various sizes. Don't worry about the screen shot if it has a year on it as there are those images available without a specific date. All of these images were vetted to avoid that frustration. There are some wallpapers available for smaller technology than a desktop and there are links to the designers' sites. These beauties were found in the 'basement archives' of Smashing Magazine. Enjoy!"

28 Awesome Desktop Calendar Wallpapers

Check out the most interesting offerings from some great designers this year.

From Denny: Smashing Magazine has put out some real beauties for the "calendar challenged" where I culled out the most interesting and beautiful choices. Why print up a calendar  when you can display it on your monitor? Check out just a few of these beauties.

They come in several monitor resolution sizes - and without the calendar - if you just enjoy the photo.  You can even vote for your favorites on the site - which I did.  I figure if someone took the time to create, send, choose, upload and post them then I can vote for the ones I enjoyed the most. :)

The designers hail from countries all over the world:  America, Spain, The Netherlands, Myanmar, India, Nepal, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Poland, Romania, Moldova, England.  Be sure to check out their links as most have links and are some interesting design, illustration, flickr or photography sites.  Enjoy - and be sure to let me know your favorites! :)

Missing Photos Now Restored

From Denny: My Bad! Thought I was deleting duplicate photos from Picasa photo album only to find out, you guessed it, those duplicates were tied to this blog.... sigh... live and learn... I've restored the first four pages and am still checking the oldest posts. Apologies for your inconvenience and disappointment when you pulled up the page to only find words without beautiful photos.

Mantra to self: "I will not delete duplicates form Picasa. I will not delete duplicates from Picasa. I will not..."
