3 Joy Quotes: How Does Practicing JOY Bring Order and Harmony Into Your Life? Also, Joy Contagious Lip-Syncing Cop Viral Video

Joyful X 2 Bathmat

               Joyful X 2 Bathmat

Now if everyone in politics and every CEO in Big Business would read this, think how much people would quit hating their jobs, their bosses and their politicians!

From Denny:  Have you ever noticed that when you are filled with Joy that your whole world is suddenly harmonious and everything just falls into place?  Joy is contagious too.  When you feel good, everyone around you feels good too!

While not everyone is called to enter into the decades long rigorous training to become a mystic for the benefit of humanity, a lot can be learned and practiced in everyday life to better enjoy life's journey.  Practicing Joy is practicing healthy spirituality, regardless of religion or no specific religious preferences at all.

Joy is a central principle for the human spirit.  Joy sustains us through life's sorrows and disappointments.  Joy acts as a counter balance while climbing out of depression or grief, dealing with past trauma and the ensuing PTSD, keeping us from sinking down further into negative emotions and thoughts.  Joy is important to safeguard not just our mental, emotional and spiritual health but it has a direct positive benefit upon our physical health too.

Adults often develop habits that steer away from Joy.  Babies laugh hundreds of times a day.  How much have you laughed out loud today?  How much have you laughed in the past month?  Do you find your world crumbling around you, feeling out of sorts and grumpy, thinking limiting thoughts, focused upon how little is going your way? ...

Poems From A Spiritual Heart: When The Angels Cry For Us

The Guardian Angel

Poems From A Spiritual Heart: When The Angels Cry For Us: How do we look to outside observers as we live our lives, especially those of us who do not grow, re-think our approach and change from our experiences?

What About Angels?

From Denny:  Humanity spends a lot of time agonizing over "what other people think" about them. What if we are observed by what we cannot physically see - yet sense on a deeper level?
What if angelic beings are real and just exist in a veiled close dimension of time but are not present in our exact time and space? How do you think they might perceive our daily lives and choices as they are witness to our time here on Earth?

5 Amazing Hope Quotes

Faith, Love, Hope Quote Thank You Cards (Pk of 10)
Thank You cards @ http://www.cafepress.com/dennylyongifts.757042696

From Denny:  Hope.  We all know what it feels like when hope blooms deep inside our hearts.  We all enjoy it when our minds turn to thoughts of hope lifting us up when we need encouragement.

Considering the tragic shooting of 20 little children and their 6 teachers in Connecticut this month right before the Christmas holiday, the economy and job worries of Americans, Hope seems to be in short supply this season.

Here are a few quotes to jump start your Hope again and pull you out of feeling blue or full blown depressed.  Sometimes, Life can get overwhelming.  Good people often wonder if all they do in the world and for the people in it is really worth it because it appears on the outside that little has changed.  That's why it's good to have a few strategies tucked away in your pocket for just those tough times when you need to pull yourself out of a negative spiral and pump yourself back up with some inspiration.

3 Quotes About Facing Tough Times

From Denny: Today is Saint Patrick's Day. If there is anyone who understands how tough Life can get it was this man. He was stolen by pirates at the age of 16 from his wealthy family in Britain. He was sold as a slave to Ireland where he learned to tend sheep and learn the Irish language that few in Britain could speak or understand.

He knew loneliness and despair yet managed to keep going in spite of it. He was a slave for six years before finding a way to escape, an escape that was a run of 200 miles - and then there were more obstacles. The life tests just kept piling up on this man.

There are a couple of links to other posts on Saint Patrick and funny quotes for his special day where you can read a longer account of how he dealt with decades of tough times. One thing is for sure; he developed mental toughness.

As I researched about Patrick (real name Maewyn) I discovered that he lived a very long life plan. His was a spiritual path that took many unexpected twists and turns. There was no way he could predict what would happen next or how to handle it. He learned how to truly trust that Life would lead the way for where he was supposed to be, doing what was needed, intersecting with others at exactly the right moment. His life story is a fascinating tale of a spiritual seeker gliding from one moment to the next in complete faith.

It's not to say he did not question or worry or wonder "what now?" Every seeker feels and thinks those things. What's important is to take your focus off the negatives as soon as you observe your mind dwelling upon them. Shifting your focus also shifts your time line, your path in life.

What these three quotes offer today is how to develop mental toughness to handle whatever comes your way, to realize you can achieve what you admire in others if only you will begin at the beginning and take the time to develop and, most of all, nothing is that important to take desperate measures.

There is always Life after a disaster, be it a natural one like an earthquake or a personal one like a divorce or financial ruin. Nothing is important enough to warrant suicide. You, and your life are worthy, worthy to continue living.

Check out the links to Saint Patrick and find out how his life unfolded to understand your life will take decades to unfold fully. So, be patient. Go through the unpleasant times as easily as you enjoy the great times. Enjoy living!

How Can Friends Help When You Need A Boost?

From Denny: How true is this quote! There are those times when the disappointments or tragedies in Life can overwhelm us. Sometimes, we lose our Joy temporarily and that's when good friends can help tremendously. They can remind us again of who we are, how we truly feel, how we live our lives and most of all, that we are loved.
