How Does Gratitude Unlock the Fullness of Life?

From Denny: As we ease into the winter season where we begin to turn inward and inspect who we were, who we are and where we think we are progressing, our thoughts do turn also to gratitude. Thanksgiving Day in America is our official national time to reflect upon the best in our lives and recount those good blessings as helpful reminders for keeping our balance when disappointment knocks at our door.

Quotations are always a great launching off point for writing. Today I went looking for both serious and funny Thanksgiving quotes to write posts for several of my blogs. Along the way I found this beautiful quote not usually listed in Thanksgiving or gratitude quotes.

Quote

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. - Melody Beattie
